History
For nearly 20 years, the SDG Tent and its predecessor, the World Food Programme Tent, have brought business, civil society and the public sector together on sustainability and the role of business in society.
Since 2019, the SDG Tent has hosted more than 10,000 visitors and 100 events with key speakers such as Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, Al Gore, Sir David Attenborough, Bill Gates, Dr. Jane Goodall, high-level UN officials, and CEOs and Chief Sustainability Officers from some of the world’s leading companies.
About the SDGs
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are an interdependent, integrated and inspirational framework, agreed by the United Nations in 2015, to shape a resilient economy with sustainability at its core.
We are now less than a decade away from 2030, when the Global Goals need to be achieved. Businesses, organisations and civil society are a strong force that together are inspiring new approaches to sustainability. With more businesses and governments undertaking sustainability commitments, there is an eagerness for organizations to take impactful action.
Now is the time to act credibly, creating long-term value for the benefit of people, communities and the planet.
