Unlocking the critical levers for a Nature Positive Economy

Wednesday, 22 January, 2025, 12:30-14:30 CET

Faced with the twin crises of climate change and nature loss, businesses, governments and finance must urgently transform and innovate. Over the past few years there has been an explosion of interest, initiatives, partnerships and work to help accelerate the transition to a nature-positive economy. At the same time, businesses must navigate and continue to lead through geo-political changes.

During this lunch session, we will pose a series of provocations to understand and prioritize where the biggest levers for change are. These include scaling and speeding up the transition through government-driven sector pathways; paying for nature benefits; moving the masses through trade associations; mandatory disclosure to raise the floor.

Each provocation will be ‘pitched’ by an expert in their field looking for your insight into some of the immediate and emerging opportunities that could make a real difference starting today and towards 2030. The conversation will be thought-provoking, honest and forward-looking, helping to influence and lay the groundwork for how we speed up policy action, drive deeper sector engagement, unlock investment and ultimately deliver a nature-positive economy for all by 2030.
