The Swiss Impact & Prosperity Initiative marks a pivotal step in rethinking how economic success is defined for a sustainable and regenerative future. As the inaugural event of the Go Beyond GDP Forum during WEF week, this side event gathering will explore how Switzerland can move beyond traditional metrics to embrace a holistic view of prosperity while learning from and contributing to global sustainability efforts.

Under the theme “Exploring the Need for a Beyond-GDP Initiative,” the event will bring together leaders from business, academia, and policy to discuss integrating natural, societal, human, and economic capital into decision-making. Keynotes from André Hoffmann and a Federal Councillor will set the stage for high level panels, reflecting on development strategies that balance resilience, equity, and sustainability.

Recognizing Switzerland’s position as a hub of innovation and governance, this forum will serve as a two-way exchange of insights. It will showcase how Swiss practices can inform global frameworks while also drawing on international expertise to refine and strengthen local approaches.
