Future Possibilities 2023: Exploring Future Sources of Prosperity
Earth Room, Wednesday, 18 January, 2023, 14:30-16:00 CET
While we cannot change the past, we can work to shape the future we want.
This session will bring together leaders from corporations, non-profits and academic institutions to discuss future possibilities for 2023 and the next decade.
The most successful countries and companies are those who are able to leverage the opportunities presented by the future. This session will discuss six future economies that will transform the economy and society over the next decades – connectivity, the circular economy, wellbeing, experience, net zero and food production. These trends will impact all countries and sectors and new models and collaborative approaches are needed if countries are to leverage these trends to their advantage and to the benefit of their people.
The session builds on the Future Possibilities Report 2020 which was published by the United Arab Emirates and will provide input into the future editions of the Future Possibilities Report and the related index.
