COP30 in 2025, hosted in Belém at the heart of the Amazon, marks a decade since the Paris Agreement and underscores the Amazon’s critical role in global climate solutions. Against a backdrop of global challenges, the conference offers Brazil a unique opportunity to lead ambitious climate discussions focused on nature-based solutions, adaptation, and just transitions.

Organized by the Arapyaú Institute, Brazil Climate Institute (BCI), Instituto Clima e Sociedade (iCS) and Capital for Climate, this panel will bring together key stakeholders to explore COP30’s significance, expected outcomes, and milestones leading to Belém.
