When there’s a will there’s a way: A conversation on Building Entreprises for social and Environmental Outcomes

The global recovery and adaptation to climate change requires investment. However, traditional forms of funding have failed to deliver systemic change in business outcomes.

This panel will be a conversation about the opportunities for hybrid and innovative funding structures for businesses that generate social and environmental outcomes. It should leave participants with a sense that opportunities exist to value diversity and fund the recovery, replacing the need for homogenous scale traditional innovation finance requires.

  • What role does entrepreneurship play in the transition to sustainable societies?
  • What is innovative finance? How can it support social and environmental outcomes?
  • What does funding for a better world look like? How must the relationship between funders, users, and entrepreneurs evolve?
  • How do we fund social and environmental outcomes with commercial investment?
